Elevating Lives, Empowering Futures

Momand Foundation dba Lifting Humanity, was founded in July 2015 in Afghanistan to aid children, youth, and struggling families with education, social services, justice, and other human rights issues. In November 2020, the organization received its 501(c)3 approval in Utah. In February 2022, the organization expanded its non-profit operations to California.

Our Impact

Ghazgai High School Project

Ghazgai High School Project will be implemented in three phases:
Phase I – University Entrance Exam (Kankor):
Phase II – Intensive English Language Course:
Phase III Computer Lab:

Women's Sewing Machine Project

Lifting Humanity will provide sewing machines and tailoring training to 20 women in Kabul, which will provide them the skill and opportunity to earn income and alleviate their economic suffering. Lifting Humanity staff in Kabul will also assist these women in finding local market for their finish product.

Winterization Assistance

Lifting Humanity carried out winterization efforts to support vulnerable families, orphans, widows, and children facing harsh winter conditions in Kabul

Food and Cash Aid

Lifting Humanity has conducted repeated food and cash aid distributions across multiple Afghan provinces to support orphans, widows, people with disabilities, and other vulnerable families.

School Cooling System

Lifting Humanity has worked to improve learning conditions in Afghan schools by installing solar-powered cooling systems across multiple locations.
