Our mission is guided by a fundamental commitment to education, social and economic development, relief, human rights, and the alleviation of human suffering regardless of age, gender, race, or religion.

Elevating Lives, Empowering Futures

Momand Foundation dba Lifting Humanity, was founded in July 2015 in Afghanistan to aid children, youth, and struggling families with education, social services, justice, and other human rights issues. In November 2020, the organization received its 501(c)3 approval in Utah. In February 2022, the organization expanded its non-profit operations to California.

Refugee Reception & Placement (R&P) Services in California

Lifting Humanity is the first official Refugee Resettlement Affiliate Site for Islamic Relief USA (IRUSA) in San Bernardino County, California. Our office is located in the city of Ontario, California.

The Services for Trauma Affected Refugee provides mental health services to refugees within 5 years of their arrival to the USA

Refugee Reception & Placement

We are the first affiliate site for refugee services in San Bernardino county providing R&P services to newly arrived refugees.

Refugee Health Promotion Project

Lifting Humanity's Refugee Health Program offers ongoing health services and support for refugees, prioritizing urgent and underserved needs.

Employment Readiness Program

Lifting Humanity's Employment Readiness Program helps refugees with job skills, ESL, and financial literacy to achieve self-sufficiency.

Unaccompanied Youth Program

Lifting Humanity offers vital support to young individuals transitioning out of shelter care. Through mentorship, community events, and rent assistance.

Support Our Work

Your donations are much appreciated and used to support our projects and efforts to aid immigrant families and foster youth. We offer ways to donate monetary online as well as forms to submit for physical item donation on site.
